Description
Generation for inverse engineering of the tubular chassis for a posterior torsional test by F.E.A. The CAD model was generated himself as from the original chassis, comparing the results of torsional tests of the real chassis with CATIA and PATRAN analysis.
Features
Using a projected images of the ral car at the botom of the CAD model we obtained the wire frame of the chassis. When finished, that CAD geometry was converted to a solids and surfaces to be a comparison of FEA results using: Beams, Shells & Solids.

Description
CAD generating from inverse engineering of a wireframe chassis, it were used for a FEA torsion tests and the final chassis re-design.
Features
The generation of the model had succes from the projection of the real chassis to an horizontal positioned DM table. The frecuency analysis of the torsion of the chassis were determined the changing.
The analysis in frequency of the torsion of the chassis determined the change of position of determined bars of the chassis, increasing the life cycle of the same and avoiding unexpected breakings for fatigue.
